ETCHINGS

Etchings are done on our fine grained black granites from South Africa. All of these etchings are done by our in plant artists who can etch anything from bush scenes to farm scenes , cars, boats, planes just to name a few. They can do portraits of a family member as well with very high detail. These etchings are scratched in the granite by diamond tipped etching tools that have many different tip sizes to be able to show even the finest hair or eye lash.
Etchings are just as permanent as the standard way of carving but allow us the means of doing much finer detail.
